Candidate Consultant (Sheffield)

£23,000 base salary per annum



This role is full time office based role, Monday to Friday 8.30- 5.30pm


As a Candidate Care Consultant, you will recruit and monitor the vetting progress of new candidates looking for work in the education sector. This role will be based in our Sheffield Office (S1 2EX) which is easily accessible by public transport / parking.


As you will be responsible for the generation of candidates across the Yorkshire region, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication
  • Is a strong communicator
  • Organised and can manage own time effectively
  • Work well as part of a team and follow direction
  • Be effective at face-to-face recruitment events
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office and be relatively IT savvy
  • Ideally experience within a customer service environment and/or target based role

We’ll support you to:

  • Writing and placing job adverts, monitoring responses, contacting candidates and building relationships with them, discussing the benefits of CER and how we can help.
  • Loading new candidates to the database and requesting various compliance documents
  • Chasing and collating relevant vetting documents and forms to help achieve the candidate’s full clearance for work
  • Keeping candidate’s database records up to date
  • Answering and dealing with telephone enquiries and complaints
  • Organising termly candidate engagement events
  • Generating and managing candidate targeted social media content
