This role is incredibly rewarding, requiring you to guide the child’s learning alongside the classroom teacher. Most students require 1:1 support under the provision of an individual education plan, where you will help the child achieve their personalised academic, social, and emotional learning goals set by educational professionals.

Can offer previous experience in a supporting capacity for mental health
Has knowledge or understanding of SEN/SEMH
Exhibits a confident approach to working with children
Possesses an educational background
Demonstrates enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally
