Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated and organised Cover Supervisor to support the learning and well-being of children aged 11-16 years old. This role involves registering and holding a classroom, ensuring that the set cover work by the school is completed to the best of the students’ abilities while encouraging development and fostering a positive environment. This role can be extremely rewarding, as a relationship is established between the students, the school, and the cover supervisor, which can often lead to a long-term opportunity.
You Will:
- Be on time for lessons and adapt to what the school asks of you
- Complete a class register at the start of each lesson
- Deliver the learning activities and work given by the school to classes
- Support students with varying capabilities
- Assist in the evaluation of the students’ and class’s progress while feeding this back to the school
The Ideal Candidate:
- Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting)
- Be able to lead a group confidently
- Understand safeguarding practices.
- Be capable of clear communication and have strong organisational skills.
- Present as calm, reliable, and committed to building positive relationships with the students they work with.
- Represents Affinity workforce in a positive and professional manner
