Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support the learning and well-being of children aged 4-16 years old. This role varies from working one-on-one with children to being a classroom support as a whole, ensuring needs are met while encouraging development and fostering a positive environment. This is a rewarding role as a relationship is established between the student and the Teaching Assistant, and can lead to a long-term opportunity.
You Will:
- Deliver and adapt learning activities for individuals and small groups with the guidance of a teacher
- Support students with varying levels of SEND
- Assist in the evaluation of student progress while feeding this back to the teacher
- Provide pastoral support and help students develop positive relationships and independent learning skills
The Ideal Candidate
- Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting)
- Have an understanding of SEND needs.
- Understand safeguarding practices.
- Be capable of strong communication and have organisational skills.
- They are calm, reliable, and committed to building positive relationships with the mstudents they work with.
- Represents Affinity workforce in a positive and professional manner
