Are you a Psychology or Counselling graduate? Or do you have experience working with behavioural needs?
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate support staff to join our team and make a difference in the lives of children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Affinity Workforce collaborates with numerous schools across Bristol, seeking individuals to work 1:1 and in small group sessions with pupils who have experienced trauma, mental health challenges, and various other needs expressed through behaviour.
The Role
While previous experience in this field is advantageous, we welcome applications from teaching assistants, counsellors, and psychology graduates eager to expand their knowledge. Our available roles vary but share a common goal: to provide a unique and supportive learning environment for each individual. Support is primarily delivered on a 1:1 basis, with some group work to promote social learning and peer relationships.
The Ideal Candidate
Has experience supporting mental health
Possesses knowledge or understanding of SEN/SEMH
Is confident in working with children
Has an educational background
Is enthusiastic about professional growth
Holds an enhanced DBS (Affinity Workforce can assist with this)
