SEN Support Worker

Affinity Workforce is currently recruiting Autism Support Workers to join a dedicated team within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in the Romford area. This school provides tailored support to pupils with a diverse range of SEND needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy, and behaviours that challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
• Assisting students during meal times
• Supporting pupils with physical needs, including moving and handling
• Promoting independence and building positive relationships with students and staff

Role Details:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30 (term time only)
• Immediate start
• Ongoing position with potential for permanent placement
• Subject to referencing and enhanced DBS checks (including adult and child barred lists)
