The Opportunity:

We are Sugarman Education are a leading Education Recruitment provider specialising in temporary staffing for Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools. We are looking to add an experienced, Senior Recruitment Consultant to our high-performing team in Soho, London.

You will manage your own recruitment business across four boroughs in London – specialising in the recruitment of education professionals (Teachers; Teaching Assistants; Cover Supervisors; Technicians and Support Staff) across Primary, Secondary and SEN settings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all Teaching, TA and Support Staff roles across four London Boroughs.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring that their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Pro-active business development – effective market-mapping to identify new contacts and opportunities to further increase Revenue.
  • Undertake effective candidate attraction and management strategies to ensure that you are engaging with and placing high-quality candidates.
  • To work collaboratively with your colleagues in your team and also across the wider Sugarman and AWS business.

What you will need to succeed:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience within the Recruitment Industry – ideally within Education Recruitment.
  • A proven track record in new business development – securing new schools.
  • The ability to maintain existing relationships and maximise revenue from existing clients.
  • Commerciality – identifying leads from both schools and candidates and effectively translating that into new business meetings and securing new work.
  • Excellent candidate management and engagement experience.
  • A proven track record in achieving KPI and Revenue Targets.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and to work closely with the team to achieve goals.
