Requirements:

• Experience working with young people prior is advantageous
• An interest in education and teaching
• Flexible work schedule, available a minimum of 2 days a week
• Good communication skills and confidence to lead a class of secondary aged pupils

Role responsibilities:

• Follow planned material to teach engaging lessons
• Support pupils in a variety of subject areas
• Feedback and report concerns or behavioural issues within the school day
• Follow the behaviour policy and report any safeguarding issues to a senior member of staff
• Liaise with other staff and Teaching Assistants supporting the class
• Support pupils with questions or queries about their educational tasks
• Support the school with lunch time or break duties
