We are currently seeking passionate, resilient, and creative Mechanics/Engineering teachers to join our team and inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and makers.
🛠️ Your Role as a Mechanics/Engineering Teacher:
You will:
- Deliver engaging, hands-on, and differentiated lessons in Mechanics and Engineering, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH needs.
- Use practical projects and real-world applications to spark curiosity and build confidence in technical skills.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support both academic progress and emotional development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities that promote creativity, independence, and employability in technical fields.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Engineering, Mechanics, Design & Technology, or a related subject.
- QTS is preferred, but we welcome applications from experienced professionals with strong subject knowledge and a passion for working with young people.
- Experience or interest in working with students with SEMH needs.
- A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching and behaviour management.
- A commitment to inclusive education and trauma-informed practice.
