Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a reputable secondary school in Sheffield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to develop and implement personalized education plans.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student engagement and well-being.
- Assist students with academic tasks, including classwork, homework, and examinations.
- Encourage independence and social integration through mentorship and guidance.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.
- A patient and empathetic approach, with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal development of students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
