SEN Teaching Assistant

£80 – £93 per day

 

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a reputable secondary school in Sheffield.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to develop and implement personalized education plans.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, promoting student engagement and well-being.
  • Assist students with academic tasks, including classwork, homework, and examinations.
  • Encourage independence and social integration through mentorship and guidance.

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal development of students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
