Primary School Teaching Assistant

£77- £89 per hour

 

Affinity Workforce are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Affinity Workforce are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Dudley area to find a Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

 

The candidate for this role will assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting pupils. This is an important role, providing children with a safe and positive beginning to their school career.

 

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

  • Preparing the classroom and activities for lessons, as well as clearing up afterwards
  • Delivering phonics and numeracy content in small groups, as well as individual learning interventions
  • Assisting individual pupils when they need support both academically and personally in the classroom
  • Encouraging good classroom behaviour and supervising children in the classroom, during structured activities and free play
  • Reading stories and listening to children read to support their literacy development
  • Lunchtime and break time supervision on a rota to ensure children are safe and happy in the playground

 

School Location: B33 Accessibility: Easily accessible on Public Transport / Onsite Parking

 

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
