£120 – £200 per day

 

Hours: Mon – Fri

 

Affinity Workforce are working with an excellent secondary school located in Corby who are seeking an English Teacher for a position to start in September. The school is an above averaged sized and includes a small sixth form and has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. It has a growing number of pupils on its roll and the proportion of disadvantaged pupils is above average. Feedback from the teachers and support staff is always positive.

 

The school are happy to consider ECT’s and experienced teachers.

 

As an English teacher you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering safe but exciting and informative lessons, both practical and written to motivate and inspire learning across the classroom.
  • Accurately providing support and encouragement to aid student’s progression and educational path.
  • Marking in accordance to school policies and provide feedback to students but also educating them on mistakes.
  • Having a flexible work approach to suit the School’s needs.
  • Delivery of safe practical presentations for students to mirror in groups.

 

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have a recognised teaching qualification (QTS) OR (QTLS)
  • English specific qualification.
  • Previous experience of teaching key stage 3 & 4 students and solid knowledge of the key stage 3 & 4 curriculum.
  • Be able to establish constructive and positive relationships with your pupil’s.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work with a positive outlook in Education.
