£130 – £200 per day

 

Are you enthusiastic about fitness, sports, and helping young minds achieve their full potential? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Secondary School PE Teacher to join our thriving team!

 

Affinity Workforce are working with a Secondary School located in the Corby Area who want to recruit a full time PE Teacher. The successful teacher will need to have experience teaching the National Curriculum to KS3 and 4 students. The role due to start September and will be an ongoing position with the potentially to go from temp to perm.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Degree in Physical Education or relevant field
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of numerous sports and physical activities
  • Ability to create engaging and well-structured lesson plans

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic PE lessons that cater to different skill levels and interests
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship
  • Plan and organise school sports events and extracurricular activities
  • Assess and monitor student’s progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Promoting an active lifestyle, healthy eating and self-esteem
