Horizons Specialist Academy Trust is dedicated to providing high quality education and learning experiences for children and young people with a wide range of special educational needs. The Trust ensures that every pupil receives expert teaching, outstanding pastoral care and access to specialist support that helps them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust was established in 2013 and has grown to include several specialist academies across the North East of England. Each academy offers tailored provision designed to meet the needs of its learners, helping them progress confidently to the next stage of education and into adulthood.
