Primary Teaching Assistant

Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with primary schools across Castleford, who are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to start ASAP. As part of the Castleford Academy Trust, these schools want to give their students the best chance of success and inspire every child to flourish through an inclusive, all-through education. The suitable individual for this role will be inspirational and encouraging to the students that they will be working with.

This role will include work on a 1:1 basis as well as support across the classroom. As part of this position, the individual may be required to work with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) students, therefore having previous relevant experience is desired – but not essential. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we’d love to hear from you!

• Maintaining a positive, well-organised classroom space

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with children (formal or informal)
• Enhanced DBS (we can help with this)
• UK Right to Work
• Enthusiastic, adaptable mindset and a love for education
