We are delighted to be working in partnership with Greenwood Academies Trust. AWS is as a managed service provider of temporary staff for their academies in the Northamptonshire, Corby and Peterborough regions.

 

From sourcing candidates, managing a supply chain of recruitment agencies and engaging with the temporary workforce, AWS recruits and fills temporary vacancy requests for teaching and non-teaching staff across 21 of the Trust’s schools in these regions.

 

AWS recruits teaching and non-teaching roles such as Qualified Teachers, Early Career Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Administrators, Caretakers and Cleaners.

This is the 12th managed service AWS has mobilised under Lot Two of the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework. The framework provides schools with an open, fair and transparent route when hiring temporary staff.

 

Lucy Fordyce is the Business Development Manager at AWS. She said: “We are delighted to be a strategic partner of Greenwood Academies Trust to support its temporary staffing requirements.

 

“Through moving away from transactional recruitment and forming meaningful, partnership-based relationships with MATs, we’re able to provide full transparency on candidate pay and agency margin. This means charging our clients less and paying candidates more.”

 

AWS is at the forefront of the managed service provision for temporary staff in the education recruitment space and is an approved supplier on Lots 1, 2.1 & 2.2 of the Crown Commercial Services temporary education staffing framework.

AWS was the largest supplier on the framework during its first iteration, delivering 75% of all managed service spend and 25% of total framework spend across the four-year agreement period. In 2022, AWS retained its position on the framework for a further four years.
