Primary Supply Teacher

Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in collaboration with a well-established multi academy trust that are seeking Primary Teachers for a number of Primary schools in the Somerset area for an immediate start. This role has the potential to become a permanent role following temporary appointment.

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service/be willing to put one in process
• Ability to provide references for the last two years

Responsibilities:

• To provide well-planned lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Liaise with parents regarding pupils progress and well-being
• Work with Teaching Assistants to support less able pupils to achieve better outcomes
• Assist in the development of the Curriculum.
• Be responsible for monitoring, assessing, reporting, recording and evaluation of learning experiences.
• Promote opportunities for peer and social interaction to develop confidence, resilience and social skills
• To plan, organise, mark work whilst also attending staff planning meetings
