Job Description:
Affinity Workforce Solutions is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join the team at our partnered school. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to support students’ academic and emotional development. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of tailored educational programs.
  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students.
  • Helping to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and reporting on students’ progress.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs desirable but a real care to make a difference in these childrens life is essential.
  • Maths and English – Level 2 (C or above) essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable.
