Working in Partnership

On a recent visit to Lime Trust, Affinity sat down with Trust CEO Kirsten Jowett, discussing the importance of finding the right candidate to fit in with the schools core values. The Trust continues to break down institutional and educational barriers to give every child a chance.

She said “Each member of staff needs to make teaching an enjoyable experience for the learner. They should also have the desire to see them succeed. All should have high expectations, as any child from any background can succeed.”

We love seeing people succeed

As well as seeing the children succeed at Lime, the Trust are invested in a number of career development opportunities for all staff, regardless of their experience.

Kirsten said: “All of our staff are valuable and add to the quality of learning here. We invest in everyone to ensure that they are highly skilled for the role. Some may want to transition from mainstream to a SEN school and we are here to support them with that.”

Making a difference

We firmly believe in the value of investment in people, and it’s evident that the Trust shares this philosophy. Kirsten’s words underscore the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every member of the team can excel.

As we work alongside Lime Academy Trust, we  support their vision of empowering both students and staff for a brighter future. Together, we aspire to make a positive impact in our communities and beyond.
