TEACHING ASSISTANT

AWS is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in the Peterborough area to support the education of children on a long-term basis. Our Schools require somebody that can immerse themselves in the school community and ethos, whilst ensuring a delivery of passion and excellence in the teaching and learning within the school.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the teaching staff to implement the Primary curriculum by
providing booster and intervention sessions to raise standards within the
classroom
Working with a child’s strengths and weaknesses to support their development
and progress
Being able to build a good rapport with teachers and children alike
Helping to create a stimulating and motivating environment for children
REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant experience of working with children
Safeguarding Level 1
