Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths instruction to students with SEMH needs, fostering a positive and engaging learning atmosphere, and supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff members.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to support students’ overall well-being and development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEMH education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
