Job Title: Pastoral Lead (Primary)

Affinity Workforce Solutions is excited to partner exclusively with Cabot Learning Federation to recruit a dedicated and experienced Pastoral Lead for a primary school setting. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual committed to improving the life chances of students through effective pastoral care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement safeguarding practices informed by legislation, guidance, and relevant research.
  • Support student attendance and implement strategies to address issues affecting attendance.
  • Provide Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) and Child Protection protocols.
  • Promote Inclusion and Raising Achievement within the school.
  • Support students with specific learning difficulties such as SEMH, ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia.
  • Liaise with external agencies regarding student education and support services.
  • Use restorative approaches to resolve conflicts and monitor attendance.
  • Lead meetings and participate in extra-curricular activities.
  • Ensure E-safety and manage confidential information securely.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and child protection protocols.
  • Understanding of issues affecting student attendance and developments in pedagogy.
  • Experience in student welfare and raising achievement within a school setting.
  • Ability to engage effectively with children, young people, and the wider school community.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, organize workloads, and work proactively.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
