Education Recruitment Consultant role at CER Education (Newcastle)

Salary: £27,000.00 – £35,000.00 (depending on experience) plus uncapped commission

Hours: Monday to Friday – 7.15am to 5.00pm with reduced hours during school holidays (8am-2pm or 10am-4pm)

23 days annual leave with an additional day off for your birthday! (Rising to 25 days leave after 2 years)

Joining our Newcastle ‘Toon’ Office would mean you’d be a member of a team who have over 75 years’ experience in the North East Education Recruitment Sector. Alongside an ambitious, dedicated and conscientious management team, the branch consists of a high number of the top 10 performing consultants in the company, all taking pride in supporting new staff with their induction and development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for education roles, with a focus on SEN (Special Educational needs)
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Proactively engage in business development activities to establish new partnerships with schools and educational institutions.
  • Identify and attract high-quality candidates for education positions through various sourcing methods.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships through both face-to-face and remote interactions.
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take ownership of your desk, treating it as your own mini business.
  • Showcase your drive to succeed and build a thriving career within the education recruitment sector.
