SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT

AWS is currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant in the Birmingham area to support the Middle education of children on a long-term basis. Our client requires
somebody that can immerse themselves in the school community and ethos, whilst
ensuring a delivery of passion and excellence in the teaching and learning within
the school.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the teaching staff to implement the KS2, 3&4 curriculum by
providing booster and intervention sessions to raise standards within the
classroom
Working with a child’s strengths and weaknesses to support their development
and progress
Being able to build a good rapport with teachers and children alike
Helping to create a stimulating and motivating environment for children
REQUIREMENTS:
Childcare Qualification (Minimum of Level 3)
Relevant experience of working with children
Safeguarding Level 1
