About Us: Affinity Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Administration Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Bristol. This role is crucial in providing high-quality administrative, clerical, and organisational support to the academy.
Job Summary: Under the guidance of senior staff, the Senior Administration Assistant will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, potentially taking the lead in specific areas such as admissions, property management, inclusion, or the primary phase. The role requires proactive problem-solving and collaboration with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the academy’s administration.
Key Responsibilities:

Relationships:
- Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support academy staff with administrative and organisational requirements.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, the public, and external bodies.
- Welcome visitors professionally and support meetings with necessary arrangements.
- Ensure safeguarding of children and young people when covering reception.

People Management:
- Supervise, coach, and support new or less experienced staff.
- Provide training in systems such as Web Req, Tucasi, or SIMs.
- Deputise in the absence of the Operations Manager.

Resource Management:
- Handle administrative tasks including correspondence, data input, and report generation.
- Lead administrative support for school events, trips, and processes.
- Manage financial and accounting administration, including invoices and reconciliations.
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and supplies.

Decision Making:
- Assist in planning and organising administrative support systems and policies.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Maintain schedules and ensure timely reminders for key events and deadlines.
