Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students in a primary school setting. This role involves working with children on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, and assisting with classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the teacher in the delivery of the curriculum
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials
• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students
• Helping to manage classroom behavior
• Supporting students with special educational needs
• Assisting with the assessment and recording of student progress
• Participating in school events and activities

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
• A relevant qualification would be beneficial (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
