Art & Design Teacher

Affinity Workforce are working exclusively with a large secondary School in Castleford to secure a long-term, full-time Art & Design Teacher to start with them ASAP.

This role is an immediate start, and there is opportunity for temp2perm for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be joining the department and playing an integral part in the planning and delivery of the curriculum across KS3 and KS4. The school have embedded a strong behaviour management policy throughout school which the successful candidate will be expected to enforce, to ensure quality learning is able to take place in the classroom.

We require applicants to have:

• QTS in the UK (pref. qualified in a related subject)
• Experience teaching Art & Design in a secondary school setting
• Dedication to providing quality education to pupils
• Ability to reliably commute to Castleford for an 8.20am arrival
• Resilience to manage challenging behaviour and follow academy-set policies
