  • What is Affinity Academy and how can I get access to it?

    Affinity Academy is our exclusive learning and development hub for Affinity Workforce candidates and internal employees. It is designed for candidates seeking professional growth in the education sector.

     

    On the other hand, employees can explore a broad range of training programs, including GDPR, Leadership, Candidate Management, Business Development, and Sales.

     

    All you need to do to get access Affinity Academy is to register with AWS or our sister brands – CER, Monarch, Sugarman or Career Teachers. 

  • What types of learning resources are available to me as a candidate/employee?

    As a candidate you will have access to a rich array of learning resources aimed at enhancing your professional skills. These include specialised training modules like Teaching Assistant Toolkits, Safeguarding Refresher Training, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), Primary National Curriculum, and Behaviour Toolkits. These comprehensive resources are thoughtfully curated to empower you with the knowledge and expertise needed to excel in various educational roles. Your consultant will also provide you with a candidate handbook upon registering which will provide support and resources to use whilst working in schools. We work in partnership with school leaders and trainers, that provide up to date information on keeping children safe in education, school policies and legislations, as well as training tools and tips.   

     

    As an employee of Affinity Workforce, you can access a diverse range of enriching learning resources. Our comprehensive training programs cover areas such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), Leadership development, Candidate Management strategies, Business Development techniques, and Sales. These resources are thoughtfully designed to empower our employees, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in their roles. Whether you’re focused on compliance, leadership growth, client relations, or sales, our training programs are tailored to support your professional development journey.

  • Who will be running the training sessions? Tell me a bit more about them.

    Our Learning and Development Manager Sophy Green will run some of the training workshops. She has over 10 years’ experience of working in the Education recruitment sector and understands the commitment required to work both in recruitment and in education.

     

    We also work in partnership with Emma Ford, who is an experienced educational leader. She has over a decade of experience in leadership and a passion to share her knowledge to improve the understanding and practice in the classroom. With a background in nationwide training delivery and a focus on safeguarding, Emma Ford is a dynamic facilitator committed to enhancing your skills and knowledge through engaging and impactful training sessions at Affinity Academy. We are always looking for external training providers to help upskill our workforce. If you are interested in supporting our workforce, please get in touch by emailing academy@affinityworkforce.com.

  • How can I book onto the training sessions?

    Booking onto our training sessions at Affinity Academy is simple! On our Affinity Academy page, you will find detailed information about our latest courses, including a link that directs you to our booking form. Fill out the form with your details, and you’ll be seamlessly enrolled in the session of your choice.

     

    Regular emails are sent to both candidates and internal employees with a booking link to our training sessions. You can also look out for our upcoming events on our Instagram page: @Affinityacademy_aws 

  • Can candidates provide feedback or suggest topics for future learning?

    After any session delivered by the Affinity Academy, a course feedback link will be sent to you via email. We appreciate all feedback and will take into consideration all feedback provided to continue to improve our academy. Click here to access our course evaluation form.

  • I’m not able to attend the training sessions in person. Can I still get access to the content?

    We are currently looking for a platform to house all our training so you can watch this in your own time. Keep updated with this progression through our website! 

  • Will I receive a certificate after completing the training session?

    Yes, all certificates will be sent within 7 days of course completion.
