Requirements:
- Experience working with young people prior is advantageous
- An interest in education and teaching
- Flexible work schedule, available a minimum of 2 days a week
- Good communication skills and confidence to lead a class of secondary aged pupils
Role responsibilities:
- Follow planned material to teach engaging lessons
- Support pupils in a variety of subject areas
- Feedback and report concerns or behavioural issues within the school day
- Follow the behaviour policy and report any safeguarding issues to a senior member of staff
- Liaise with other staff and Teaching Assistants supporting the class
- Support pupils with questions or queries about their educational tasks
- Support the school with lunch time or break duties
