SEND 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Affinity Workforce Solutions are looking to recruit an SEND Learning Support Assistant for a Primary School in the Severn Beach area of Bristol with an September start on a temp to fixed term contract until August 2025 with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

The role will involve supporting learners for 25 hours a week who are hard to engage or have additional needs. Applicants should have a proven history in achieving outcomes for learners.

Affinity Workforce Solutions are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to join our well established managed service delivery centre. You will be working with specific pupils that require specialist support to ensure that they are keeping on track and progressing academically.

You will be responsible for supporting the Teacher and working with the pupils in the classroom environment. You should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children in a childcare setting, and be able to work collaboratively with staff and pupils. The successful candidate will have the ability to be flexible and multi-task, as well as the capability to work under own initiative.

We are looking for:

  • SEND LSA
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of SEMH
  • Can work collaboratively within a well-established, supportive and dynamic Department
