Teaching Assistant – Bristol

Salary: £85 -100 per day

Hours: Mon-Fri

Affinity Workforce are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants in Bristol. We seek to place Teaching Assistants in roles from Nursery to Year 6 in some of the best primary schools across Bristol. There are part time, full time and long term roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Successful candidates will earn a minimum of £80 a day. If candidates impress in a school trial they can be paid up to £100 a day, dependent on qualifications and experience.

What you will need to succeed:

The ideal Teaching Assistant should:

• Have experience working as an Early Years, Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teaching Assistant or SEN TA
• Be flexible and patient.
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team
• Be able to work 8.30-4pm

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

• Encourage the pupil to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
• Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
• Provide feedback to the pupil in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher.
• Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with the lesson plans and assist with the display of the pupils work.
• Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support the pupil to achieve learning goals targets/appropriate to EYFS.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
