Affinity Partnerships are looking for a Maths Teacher to help cover a vacancy starting at the end of February until the end of July at a school in Somerset. This is easily accessible from both the Taunton and Weston-Super-Mare areas.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable leading KS3 and KS4 lessons and be prepared to do planning and marking as well as having a tutor group. The successful candidate will be paid to scale MPS1 – UPS3.

The successful applicant:

• Qualified Teachers Status.
• Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
• Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
