The Opportunity:
We are Monarch Education, a leading Education Recruitment provider specialising in temporary staffing for Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools. We are looking to add a Recruitment Consultant to our Team in Birmingham, specialising in education recruitment across the West Midlands Region. The Birmingham office is a large, vibrant and high-performing team with passion and drive to succeed and deliver first-class services to our candidates and clients.
You will manage your own recruitment business, specialising in either SEN or Secondary Education Recruitment.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all Teaching, TA and Support Staff roles across your specialist area.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring that their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Pro-active business development – effective market-mapping to identify new contacts and opportunities to further increase Revenue.
- Undertake effective candidate attraction and management strategies to ensure that you are engaging with and placing high-quality candidates.
- To work collaboratively with your colleagues in your team and also across the wider Monarch and Affinity Group.
- Work closely with the Managers, colleagues and compliance teams to ensure your targets are achieved.
- Deliver excellent customer service to your clients and candidates.
- Demonstrate Affinity’s core brand values in both your interactions with external and internal stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with your colleagues to support a high-performing and supportive culture.
What you will need to succeed:
- Ideally 12-months recruitment experience (Education sector is preferred but not essential)
- A proven track record in new business development / sales ability.
- The ability to maintain existing relationships and maximise revenue from existing clients.
- Commerciality – identifying leads from both schools and candidates and effectively translating that into new business meetings and securing new work.
- Excellent candidate management and engagement experience.
- A proven track record in achieving KPI and Revenue Targets.
- The ability to work collaboratively and to work closely with the team to achieve goals.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- The ability to identify training needs and to be proactive in creating a plan of action in how to action this across the team.
