🌟 Teaching & Learning Support Assistant (TLSA) Futura Trust Primary Schools (Bridgwater & Clevedon) 🌟

Locations:
Futura Learning Partnership operates a number of primary schools across Bridgwater and Clevedon, including:

  • Bridgwater: Puriton Primary School, Westover Green Community School & Autism Centre, Woolavington Village Primary School.
  • Clevedon: All Saints C of E Primary School, Yeo Moor Primary School, St Nicholas’ Chantry C of E Primary School.

✨ About the Role

As a TLSA, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils across Futura’s inclusive primary settings. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children with a range of needs, including those with autism, communication needs, and additional learning needs (notably at Westover Green which includes an ASD centre)
  • Assisting class teachers to deliver high‑quality, engaging learning
  • Supporting behaviour, emotional regulation, and positive social interactions
  • Helping deliver small‑group and 1:1 interventions
  • Creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, external professionals, and families to support pupil progress

🎓 Requirements

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have experience supporting children in primary education (SEND experience ideal)
  • Are patient, calm, empathetic, and proactive
  • Can follow structured learning plans and adapt to individual needs
  • Are passionate about helping all pupils succeed
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, child‑centred team
