We are a dedicated agency partnering with an Ofsted‑rated Outstanding SEN school in Fishponds that delivers bespoke educational programmes and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) for children and young people with severe and complex sensory profiles, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviour.

The school was most recently inspected by Ofsted and rated Outstanding in all categories, recognising it as “a place where pupils feel safe, secure, and understood… a calm and orderly environment where pupils thrive.”

Role Overview

We are seeking passionate and committed Complex Needs Support Workers to join our team within our partner school setting. You will play a key role in supporting pupils with complex needs by promoting emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour.

Experience with Team Teach is desirable; however, candidates willing to complete upcoming Team Teach training are strongly encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people with severe and complex needs, including sensory processing differences, learning difficulties, and behaviours that challenge
  • Deliver Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies tailored to each pupil
  • Provide 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 support, adapting approaches to individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to maintain a safe, calm, and structured learning environment
  • Contribute to pupil progress through observation, reflection, and communication
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development, including Team Teach

Requirements

  • Team Teach trained or willing to complete training
  • Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs (education, care, or support settings)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • A genuine commitment to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
