Role Overview
We are seeking passionate and committed Complex Needs Support Workers to join our team within our partner school setting. You will play a key role in supporting pupils with complex needs by promoting emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour.
Experience with Team Teach is desirable; however, candidates willing to complete upcoming Team Teach training are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children and young people with severe and complex needs, including sensory processing differences, learning difficulties, and behaviours that challenge
- Deliver Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies tailored to each pupil
- Provide 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 support, adapting approaches to individual needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to maintain a safe, calm, and structured learning environment
- Contribute to pupil progress through observation, reflection, and communication
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development, including Team Teach
Requirements
- Team Teach trained or willing to complete training
- Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs (education, care, or support settings)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
- A genuine commitment to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
