This exciting new provision is being launched by an Ofsted Outstanding provider, recognised for delivering high-quality specialist education and outstanding support for children with additional needs.

This is a unique opportunity to join as part of the founding team, working together to build a positive, structured, and supportive environment for young people from the very beginning.

  • Behaviour that can be complex or challenging

As a HLTA, you will take on a key role within the classroom, helping to deliver consistent, engaging support and stepping up to lead learning when needed. The focus is on helping pupils develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills as they prepare for adulthood.

  • Transition smoothly into the new setting as part of a prepared team

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading small group learning and structured activities

  • Delivering targeted interventions to support individual progress
  • Helping to maintain a predictable, structured environment for pupils
  • Modelling effective practice and supporting other LSAs
  • Supporting students with regulation, communication, and engagement
  • Assisting with personal care where required

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with autistic young people, ideally in a school setting
  • Is confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Can lead learning activities and support classroom delivery
  • Is calm, consistent, and patient in their approach
  • Works well as part of a team and can support others
  • Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to inclusive education
