CER Education Recruitment (part of the Affiniry Workforce Solutions Group) are a leading Education Recruitment provider specialising in temporary staffing for Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools. We have an exciting opportunity to add to our high-performing team, specialising in SEN Recruitment. You will join a small but exciting team, with fantastic collaborative links with wider regional teams in Darlington and Newcastle. CER have a fantastic reputation, coupled with great market-presence, which will allow the successful applicant to have the opportunity to really grow and develop with the business.

We are therefore seeking an ambitious, and pro-active individual to further increase our market-share and to continue our first-class delivery of specialist Educators and Support Staff to support schools in York and surrounding areas. This is a hugely exciting opportunity for an ambitious; results-driven and customer-focused individual to join our expanding team!

  • £30,000 – £34,500 per annum (DOE)
  • Uncapped Commission (in addition to base salary)
  • Working Hours: 07:15 – 17:15 (Term Time only) and significantly reduced hours during the school holidays.

Role responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for education-based roles.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Proactively engage in business development activities to establish new partnerships with schools and educational institutions.
  • Identify and attract high-quality candidates for education positions through various sourcing methods.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships through both face-to-face and remote interactions.
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take ownership of your desk, treating it as your own mini business.
  • Showcase your drive to succeed and build a thriving career within the education recruitment sector

  • Ideally someone who has a track-record in client engagement and retention.
  • The ability to drive new business development and demonstrate sales ability.
  • Proactivity in candidate attraction and management and the ability to implement effective strategies to ensure that we are registering the highest-quality candidates.
