Affinity Partnerships is proud to partner with a well-established Multi-Academy Trust in the Melksham and Devizes area. We are currently seeking Cover Supervisors for both primary and secondary to join several schools within the Trust, with immediate start and September 2026 opportunities available!

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service/be willing to put one in process
• Ability to provide references for the last two years
• Experience working with young people (e.g. in education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confidence in delivering pre-set lesson plans and supervising students
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to adapt

Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects and year groups
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting students with their learning and encouraging engagement
• Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and classroom activity
• Building rapport with students and staff across different school settings
