We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join schools across Peterborough. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and newly qualified teachers who are eager to develop their teaching careers in a supportive environment.
Whether your expertise lies in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, PE, Arts, Technology, or any other subject specialism, we would love to hear from you. Schools are open to a variety of subject backgrounds and specialisms.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback where necessary.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining high expectations for all students.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within a secondary school setting is desirable.
- ECTs and newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for education and student development.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young people.
- Flexibility and willingness to contribute positively to the wider school community.
