About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding role for a confident HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, managing complex casework and influencing positive organisational change.
Working closely with the Head of People and school leaders, you will:
- Lead on disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness absence and restructuring casework.
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to leaders and managers.
- Support and improve recruitment processes across our schools.
- Lead the ongoing implementation and development of the MyNewTerm recruitment platform.
- Analyse workforce data and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Support organisational development, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Deliver HR training and ensure compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Trust People Plan.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR professional who can combine operational excellence with a collaborative and people-focused approach.
You will have:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Significant experience managing complex employee relations casework.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience advising leaders and managers on a wide range of HR matters.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and report-writing skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- A commitment to staff wellbeing, inclusion and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- CIPD Level 7 qualification.
- Experience within education, academy trusts or maintained schools.
- Safer Recruitment qualification.
- Experience supporting organisational change and restructuring projects.
