Our partnered school, part of the Cabot Learning Federation in Brockworth, is a nurturing and inclusive SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) specialist school dedicated to transforming the lives of young people through education, care, and support. We are currently seeking a passionate, resilient, and imaginative Art Teacher to join our team and help students express themselves, build confidence, and discover their creative potential.
🖌️ Your Role as an Art Teacher:
You will:
- Deliver engaging, hands-on, and differentiated Art lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH needs.
- Use a variety of media and techniques to inspire creativity and self-expression.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support both academic progress and emotional development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities that promote creativity, independence, and personal growth.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Art, Fine Art, Art & Design, or a related subject.
- QTS Certificate
- Experience or interest in working with students with SEMH needs.
- A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching and behaviour management.
- A commitment to inclusive education and trauma-informed practice.
