Are you an enthusiastic Computer Science teacher looking for a new role?

Affinity Partnerships are working with a school in Tewkesbury who are looking for a full-time qualified Computer Science teacher to start working at the end of March until 17th July 2026.

The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge and is passionate about what they do. This role is paid to scale.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher (or hold an equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Deliver consistently strong teaching within their subject area.
  • Support the needs of all learners, including SEND, pupil premium, looked‑after children and high attainers.
  • Communicate effectively, embrace change and build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom.
  • Demonstrate strong professional practice and support the development of others.

The successful applicant:

  • Qualified Teachers Status.
  • Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
  • Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
