Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cover Supervisor to support the learning and well-being of children aged 11-16 years old. This role involves holding a classroom and delivering the cover work left by a teacher, ensuring needs are met while encouraging development and fostering a positive environment. This is a rewarding role as a relationship is established between the student and the cover supervisor, and can lead to a long-term opportunity.
You Will:
- As a cover supervisor, following the cover work set and holding a classroom in a secondary school enviroment.
- Support students with varying levels of SEND
- Assist in the evaluation of student progress while feeding this back to the school
- Provide pastoral support and help students develop positive relationships and independent learning skills
The Ideal Candidate
- Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting)
- Have a broad understanding of the education system.
- Understand safeguarding practices.
- Be capable of strong communication and have organisational skills.
- Will be calm, reliable, and committed to building positive relationships with the students they work with.
- Represents Affinity workforce in a positive and professional manner
