We’re currently looking for a confident, adaptable, and proactive Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools by delivering pre-set lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of teaching staff.
🧑🏫 Key Responsibilities * Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task * Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff with clarity and confidence * Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies * Support students with their learning and encourage participation * Record attendance and report any issues to senior staff * Maintain a calm, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
🎯 What We’re Looking For * Experience working with young people (preferred but not essential) * Strong communication and classroom management skills * Ability to follow instructions and think on your feet * A positive attitude and genuine interest in education * Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
