Affinity Workforce Solutions is proud to partner with a well-established Multi-Academy Trust in the Bath area. We are currently seeking Cover Supervisors for both primary and secondary to join several schools within the Trust, with immediate start opportunities available.

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service/be willing to put one in process
• Ability to provide references for the last two years
• Experience working with young people (e.g. in education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confidence in delivering pre-set lesson plans and supervising students
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to adapt

Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects and year groups
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting students with their learning and encouraging engagement
• Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and classroom activity
• Building rapport with students and staff across different school settings
