Our partnered school, part of the Cabot Learning Federation in Brockworth, is a nurturing and inclusive SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) specialist school dedicated to transforming the lives of young people through education, care, and support. We are currently seeking a passionate, resilient, and creative Maths Teacher to join our team and help students build confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve academic success through the power of numeracy.
Your Role as a Maths Teacher:
You will:
- Deliver engaging, practical, and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH needs.
- Use real-world applications and creative strategies to make Maths accessible and meaningful.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support both academic progress and emotional development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities that promote problem-solving, independence, and personal growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience or interest in working with students with SEMH needs.
- A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching and behaviour management.
- A commitment to inclusive education and trauma-informed practice.
