About the Role We are looking for caring, resilient people to take on a full‑time role supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You don’t need years of experience – just empathy, determination, and a willingness to learn. Full training and guidance will be provided so you can grow into a role where your work genuinely matters.
Hours
8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (school hours)
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting students with SEMH needs and encouraging wellbeing
Using creativity – whether that’s art, music, sport, or your own talents – to build connections
Applying trauma‑informed approaches and Team Teach strategies to promote positive behaviour
Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and pastoral staff to provide tailored support
What We’re Looking For
Empathy and compassion to respond sensitively to the impact of trauma
Resilience and emotional regulation in challenging situations
Commitment to inclusion, equality, and diversity
(Desirable) Experience in youth work, social care, or education
(Desirable) Knowledge of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
