PE Cover Supervisor

Affinity Partnerships are looking for a female cover supervisor, with a background in sports coaching or PE, as well as being comfortable doing general cover for a school in Weston-Super-Mare.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable leading KS3 and KS4 lessons and should be enthusiastic about sports. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience as a PE teacher.

This role is currently for term four, until 2^nd April, however there is potential for it to be extended for the correct candidate.

The successful applicant:

• Qualified Teachers Status.
• Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
• Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
