We’re recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to join our partnered school in Fishponds, Bristol. The school supports children with a range of needs including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism, and Complex Needs.

Affinity Workforce partners with five specialist settings across Barton Hill and Fishponds-Infants, Juniors, Secondary, Sixth Form, and a Behavioural setting. You’ll work in 1:1, 2:1, or small group settings, providing essential care and learning support during a crucial stage of each child’s development.

About the Role

Whether you’re an experienced TA or a psychology graduate eager to learn, this role offers a chance to grow your skills and make a lasting impact. You’ll help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment tailored to each pupil’s needs. Most support will be 1:1, with opportunities for group work to encourage social learning and peer relationships.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience in SEN or with individuals with Autism (desirable)
  • Is resilient, confident, and calm under pressure
  • Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
  • Is eager to learn and grow in the SEN field
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
