A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and committed Science Teacher to join our large and vibrant secondary school. We are looking for a passionate practitioner who can deliver engaging, high‑quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about inspiring young people and contributing to a collaborative and forward‑thinking department.
Planning and delivering effective Science lessons for KS3 and KS4
Assessing, marking, and providing constructive feedback to support pupil progress
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Preparing lessons and resources that meet the needs of all learners
Attending Parents’ Evenings and contributing to wider school events
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or strong science knowledge as a cover supervisor
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and commitment to high‑quality teaching and learning
Ability to plan engaging lessons and manage workload effectively
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Experience working in a large secondary school (beneficial but not essential)
